Meet Dr. Brett C. Skarr
Dr. Brett C. Skarr grew up in a suburb of Chicago and moved to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University. Here he completed his undergraduate studies, and graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1990. For the next three years he worked as a dental associate in Milwaukee and in 1993, moved to Waukesha to acquire the practice of Dr. Gene Baus. Since this purchase, the practice has tripled in size, primarily due to the “word of mouth” referrals from his many satisfied patients. This in turn required a facility to accommodate all these patients and as a result, he built one of the preeminent dental offices in the state of Wisconsin.
In addition to his love for dentistry, Dr. Skarr also enjoys snowmobiling, wake boarding and following Marquette basketball. He lives in Waukesha and is married to his wife, Debbie, and together they have two sons, Kyle and Zach. Dr. Skarr currently sits on the peer review committee of Waukesha County, and is a former board member of the Waukesha County Dental Society. He is a member of the Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic Operations Committee and has been past president and member of the Waukesha Kiwanis Early Risers. Dr. Skarr was recently inducted into the Pierre Fauchard International Honor Dental Organization, and is currently a member of the Wisconsin Dental Associations Legislative Committee. Other affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association and the Waukesha County Dental Society.
